Why You'll Profit from A Personal Internet Business Training Program

By Riggie Freyer

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

If you're struggling to get customers and make money online, the solution might be to get a personal coach. Find one that runs an internet business training program customized to your needs. A training program which personally takes a hard look at your your goals, your website, your habits and how you go about making money in your internet business.

Here's a short story. I coach students in a very personal way to succeed with their internet business and search engine marketing. Since my youth I've also been a national class tennis player and coach. The reason I'm telling you this story is… I've never seen a top player in tennis on any other individual sport, which has succeeded big time in a career without personal coaching.

Sure… some might do it in business via trail and error, but most people will go through their entire lives lacking the skills and tools necessary to make a very high income in their careers. And they waste years of time because they don't know exactly what to do.

I've seen this happen a million times while coaching talented tennis players. Almost every single one has serious weaknesses, or strengths they have to quickly improve to move up the rankings fast. Believe me, the only way you can improve a players technique, strength, match strategy etc. is by intensive personal coaching. I can't think of one top sportsman who had no coaching or simply group coaching and became really successful.

Can you?

My point is this. At some stage we all need to learn the skills, tips and details to make it to the top. And the more personal the feedback you get for your business the faster you'll get visitors and make sales. Especially if your coach has done it himself and as excellent coaching skills. It never ceases to amaze me how many years my students have wasted years reading information and doing all kinds of training courses. And never stopped to realize that there's a faster way to learning the skills and getting the results.

Whether you want to learn search engine optimization or basic internet marketing, the speed of your development will depend on how teachable your are, and how good your coach is at teaching you in simple steps. To put it simply, we all need a coach at some point in time.

For example, if you're an affiliate providing your merchant with a few sales a month, and you seem to work day in and day out on your computer without much success, a personal coach will increase your income dramatically if he's already succeed at the affiliate opportunities you're trying to sell.

Or you might be a professional with a management degree certification or studied software video technology. Even though you're highly qualified, you'll probably still lack the business knowledge and resources a skilled coach can teach you.

My favorite method to teach my international students is via articles, video classes and one-on-one telephone and chat sessions. This provides them with a system whereby they get the basic education to get a lot of traffic to their websites and how to build their customer list. Then once they're selling a few products and services, I show them advanced methods to take their business or company to the next level.

The last step is to meet at least weekly and keep them accountable for their actions. I help my clients set action goals for the week and check with them a week later how they're doing…. in fact, we almost always become friends and work on succeeding in their business together.

Now seriously… if you had this kind of personal attention from a classy coach, wouldn't you and your business also improve in leaps and bounds every month?

How to Increase Your Targeted Website Traffic For Free

By Riggie Freyer

You want to increase the amount of targeted traffic to your website… and you want it for free from the search engines or other advertising sources! You can have all the traffic you want, as long as you're prepared to learn the basic SEO(Search Engine Optimization) ropes and create unique content.

Remember, you don't just simply want traffic. You want targeted traffic. And you can get it if you produce good, unique content. When visitors hit your site, they'll immediately be interested in your content if they're targeted visitors.

These Steps will Help You Generate Free Targeted Website Traffic:

1. Setup a Blog, preferably a Wordpress Blog

The reason a blog is going to help you to get free traffic faster is:

  • It's fast and easy to add new content
  • People tend to trust blogs more than websites
  • Blogs get updated frequently by the search engines
  • You get additional content when you allow visitors to post comments on your blog
  • Your articles are linked and listed chronologically automatically in a blog - There's no need to do any linking of your pages like you'd have to do with a website

Maintaining a website is hard work. A blog eliminates a lot of the work you need to do for a website. For eg. you don't need to create a sitemap, or link your webpages together etc. which you have to do on a website.

If you intend to setup a blog long term and you want to build a business around it, get a Wordpress blog. And if you have some money to invest in the Semiologic add-on package, it's worth every penny. And it'll make your life a lot easier… and more efficient to setup and run your blog.

2. Get One-Way Links to Your Website or Blog

Google has stated that it does not like websites exchanging links directly. Therefore you need to get one-way links to your site to be on the safe side.

The easiest free ways to get a stampede of visitors to your site with free links is by:

  • Submitting to carnivals at http://blogcarnival.com/bc/submit.php
  • Go to high traffic blogs and make contributing comments on those blogs
  • You can find "Do Follow" blogs below which will allow the search engines to follow a link to your web site
Not all blogs do this, so make sure you visit blogs from these Do Follow lists.
Check out the Do Follow Blogs Directories and lists here
    :

    1. http://www.dofollowblogs.com/
    2. http://www.dofollowdirectory.com/submit.php
    3. http://nicusor.com/do-follow-list/

3. Use Stumbleupon to Get Free Traffic to Your Site

Stumbleupon is a social bookmaking site. You need to have a good solid content site first before you use this technique.

But once you've got good content, you'll find stumbleupon will get you targeted traffic quicker than almost all the Web 2.0 sites. Simply open and account and get one or two people to help you to bookmark your site. Make sure they also bookmark other good websites too and Stumbleupon will send you decent traffic…

4. Submit Videos with VideoUploadPro or Tubemogul.com

Use TubeMogul to upload your viral video to the web. It's a universal upload tool which uploads your video to all the supported video sharing sites, saving your loads of time. The supported sites for distribution include Yahoo Video, Blip.tv, Dailymotion, Google Video, Metacafe, Myspace, Revver, Youtube.

This site tracks stats about the video so you can see how much traffic it's getting across multiple networks.

If you want to make sure you get even more exposure for your viral video on the web, I highly recommend getting a copy of http://www.videouploadpro.com/. This software uploads your video to 18 different sites such as Flurl.com, Clipshack.com, Sharkle.com and all of the above site which Tubemogul submits to.

Obviously, there are many more methods to get free traffic for your site. I'll cover more methods in future articles.
What are your 'secrets' to get lots of free targeted visitors to your site?

How to Get Do Follow Links with High Pagerank

By Riggie Freyer

One of the easiest and quickest ways to get high pagerank links to your site is by commenting on blogs, forums and social bookmarking sites with high page rank. Any sites you find with a page rank of 3 and higher will most likely be worth your time.

Also consider the possibility that a site with pagerank 3 today, could be a pagerank 4 or 5 in six to twelve months time. So make sure you visit these sites and give useful and helpful comments to the site owners.

Here's a 3-Step Strategy to Get
Do Follow Links from High Pagerank Sites

1. Use software to find Blogs which follow the "Do Follow" attribute.

A lot of Wordpress blog owners are already ignoring the nofollow rule and have started allowing the search engines to follow links to your website via the "Do Follow" attribute. This is good news for all of us who would like good links and are prepared to to give contributing comments on other related blogs.

To find the Do Follow blogs in your niche, simply go to http://www.ezbusinessneeds.com/dofollow.php. It does quite a good job of finding blogs, but does not seem to find all the blogs in a niche. I use Fast Blog Finder as it finds a lot more blogs with Google page rank. You can get a trial version here.

Also lookout for blogs which use the KeywordLuv Wordpress plugin. This plugin allows you to put your name in the name field of your comment, followed by an @ symbol and then your keywords. The result is that your keywords get anchored after your blog's url.

Now you get one way backlinks with targeted keywords to your website and the blog owner gets comments on his or her blog.

2. Post at Forums to High PR and Do Follow Links

I once found this list of high page rank forums at webgenome.com. It comes in very handy as these forums all have high pagerank and use the Do Follow attribute. The problem is that you can't use these fourms in many niches. You would therefore have to search via google for more niche related high pagerank forums.

Anyway, here is a list of those high pagerank forums:

* Adobe Forums - Lets Talk about Flash Baby

o Adobe RSS Feed Submittal - This may be hand reviewed - But if your blog talks about Adobe products, you can get a PR10 Backlink

* MSDN Forums - I can’t get Vista to Work either

* MySQL Forums - Debugging is poetry

* AMD Support Forums - I can’t get Vista to work either ;-)

* Intel Software Network Forums - Note Intel has many different dedicated forums on different subjects

* CNET Forums - Can you fix my PC?

* Payment Processing Forum - Sig Links have PR6 Passed.

3. Get High Pagerank from Social Bookmarking Sites

You can also get high pagerank links from social bookmarking sites. You simply bookmark your content to get links to your site. You'd definitely also want to bookmark other sites too, to be of use to the community. Only bookmarking your own pages could get you into hot water with the social bookmarking site.

Here is the list of Pagerank 4 to 6 Social Bookmarking Sites:

1. Mister-Wong - Pagerank 6
2. Backflip - Pagerank 6
3. Spurl - Pagerank 6
4. Bibsonomy - Pagerank 6
5. LinkaGoGo - Pagerank 6
6. SpotBack - Pagerank 5
7. Buddy Marks - Pagerank 5
8. MyLinkVault - Pagerank 5
9. MyVmarks - Pagerank 4
10. TeDigo - Pagerank 4
11. ClipClip - Pagerank 4
12. A1 Webmarks - Pagerank 4
13. OYAX - Pagerank 4
14. Connectedy - Pagerank 4

Please comment and add your methods of getting high pagerank one way links to your site…

An Affordable Web Site Traffic System

By Riggie Freyer

Buying traffic is getting expensive. You only have to track the rising prices of clicks at Google Adwords to realize this fact. You can get your web site off the ground fast by simply investing some time. Use software tools and a simple promotion strategy to increase the flow of visitors to your websites.

Here’s a Mini-Traffic System to Get Affordable Web Site Traffic:

Step 1. Create a Blog and Write Content for It - the Right Way

This is a free method that only costs your time. It's very effective to build traffic to your web site or blog over time. The search engines love blogs and spider active blogs frequently. Once you've registered a domain, setup a wordpress blog and write content for it to get traffic.

Before you start writing your articles, make sure you research your keywords first, and then target long tail keywords (keywords with 2 or more words). Use Wordtracker.com of Nichebot.com for your keyword research. Then read up and apply the basics of Search Engine Optimization so that the articles on your blog get found by the search engines. You'll then start to get traffic for many of your articles, especially if you work on getting links to these articles.

Step 2. Get Links to your Long Tail Content Pages

Use Web 2.0 to Get Your Content Found Quickly

Set up accounts at digg.com and propeller.com. Then submit good content at these sites and you'll get indexed quickly by the search engines. Your site will also get additional links from these authority web sites. Now you can go ahead and add additional links to your web page and get a good ranking.

Should you want to submit to more Web 2.0 sites, you can go to http://www.socialmarker.com and promote your website or blog to to all the social networks immediately. You'll need to sign up to the social networks manually the first time, but after that the submission is fast and easy via socialmarker.com.

Comment on Blogs Which Have the Allow "Do Follow" Attribute

You can definitely find blogs in your niche which will have the "Do Follow" attribute. This means if you leave a comment on their blog, the search engines will follow a link in your comment to your web site. Please don't advertise on their blog, as you're a guest on their site… so add value to their blog in exchange for a link.

You can find a free program to find these blogs at http://www.ezbusinessneeds.com/dofollow.php. It works fine, but does not seem to do the best job of finding all the blogs in a niche. I use the professional version of Fast Blog Finder as it finds a lot more blogs with Google page rank. You can get a trial version here.

Now add a Press Release….

Create a press release and submit it to free and paid services. The best paid ones I use are prweb.com and webwire.com. I prefer the paid version of prweb.com. For $220 you can submit a press release and imbed a link to your website. You might think it's very expensive, but you could get a lot of traffic from your press release and some great links which will give your site a nice boost in the search engine rankings.

Some free press release sites to possibly get you more targeted traffic are:

  • theopenpress.com
  • prlog.org
  • openpr.com/news/submit.html
  • pr.com/promote-your-business
  • pr9.net/press
  • free-press-release.com

Let me know which your favorite traffic methods are and why they work for you…

Who has the Best Blogging Software?

By Riggie Freyer

In my mind, Wordpress has won the race for the best blogging software.

It's easy to use, is free and has many templates, plug-ins and functions that simply rock. Wordpress has become the standard amongst most bloggers and business owners today.

However, it still has certain weaknesses. Additional plug-ins and features would transform it from a good to a great blogging software system.

That's where the Semiologic blogging software for Wordpress comes in. If you're willing to pay for it, your Wordpress blog transforms into a truly amazing professional blog with stunning features and possibilities.

Semiologic is regarded by several marketers and businesses as being the best blogging software add-on for Wordpress.

Check out the 5 main reasons why Semiologic is the Best Blogging Software.

1. It Creates Effective and Sophisticated SEO (Search Engine Optimized) Friendly Web Pages

Semiologic Pro has optimized built-in technology to attract search engine spiders to your blog. It uses RSS and ping notifications to draw the search engines to your newly written pages. It also has many additional SEO optimized features which makes it easy for the search engines to find and rank your blog pages.

It also offers built-in tagging which gives the search engines additional words to make your content relevant. And lastly, its archived pages generate a constant stream of freshly updated pages for the search engines.

2. The Semiologic Software Is Easy To Use

Firstly, menus are available to easily change your blog's look and feel. It has a Theme Feature Picker which allows you to mass-activate its features in a single click. And if you want to change your blog's font for example, simply choose a new font size or type and a single click show the new changes. Changing your blog's header or footer would also take a minute and it's done.

3. Over 24 Blog Templates Are Available to You

You certainly want to have a good looking template for your blog. Semiologic has great customization features which allow you to choose between 12 eye catching designs and 24 different templates.

It's also a speedy process to change the way your template looks. Simply choose a different template, click "save", and your new blog template is instantly created! A skin and layout feature allows you to easily fine-tune your template.

4. Save Time Working On your Blog

Semiologic comes with a platform of built-in plug-in's. This includes author images, podcasting, videocasting, comment subscriptions, spam control, advanced caching and many more. This saves you from having to download and install the plugins your self. You simply have to activate them and you're ready to go.

For example, a newsletter subscription form also lets you integrate leading mailing list managers to follow up on your visitors, customers and potential customers. And advanced visitor tracking tools allow you to monitor your site's visitors.

5. Clone Your Blog or Update It in Seconds

Let's assume you've setup your blog and you'd like to create another similar blog.

You then simply use the "Clone" Wizard to create a mirror copy of your present blog. To update your blog to the new Semiologic version is easy too. You simply need one click and you're updated to the new version of the software.

Internet Business Tips for Beginners

By Riggie Freyer

Do you find yourself overwhelmed by the the flood of information on the internet?

It's becoming increasingly difficult to start an internet business and get the basics right. Beginner to intermediate internet businesses are challenged to market their websites via the search engines, pay-per-click engines, blogs and articles to attract prospects and customers.

As if the above is not challenging enough, web 2.0 and marketing with videos and audios only makes the list for the newbie entrepreneur longer and overwhelming. The solution is to take a step-by-step approach to market your website and learn advanced techniques after you've mastered the basics.

Here's a simple 4 Step Internet Business for Beginners Plan to Market your New Blog…

1. Why you Should Setup a Blog Instead of a Website

A blog allows you to easily easily add content without needing a webmaster every time you want to do so. You simply need to log into your blogs administration panel and you can post your content to your blog. You want your content to be found in the search engines real fast.

Search engines love blogs and often index them faster than websites. In addition, a blog automates many small tasks you'd normally need a webmaster for. This includes creating a site map for the search engines, including audio on your website and linking your website pages to each other.

2. Research keywords in your Niche with Expert Tools

My recommendation is to use eitherhttp://www.nichebot.com, or
http://www.wordtracker.com
, right from the beginning, as they are easy and powerful to use. And above all, you get all the keywords you need right now. Avoid fiddling with free tools. They won't give you the wide range of keywords you need. First, find out which keywords and topics you'd want to write about. Then find low competition and well searched terms you can write content about.

Post these articles to your blog and get some links to your article. The search engines will pick up your content and you'll now get additional visitors to your blog. By the way, Nichebot has video training on how to research keywords too. It's a great idea to join Nichebot if you're new to keyword research.

3. Submit Your Blog to Blog Carnivals

Add content to your blog at least 3 times a week and submit your blog to blog carnivals at http://blogcarnival.com/bc/submit.php. Look for suitable categories to submit your blog and you should start seeing traffic soon.
