    Article submission basically done for getting the traffic.AS you said don't submit your article on the hundred of directorty now it is less effective.

  6. Article writing and submission does help. I have another site that was not ranked very high in the serps for my main keywords.

    I did a little research, found some interesting bits of info and applied what I learned. I basically had to do a little house cleaning on my site and reorganize things.

    I also wrote a few articles the revolved around the main keywords of my site. I ended up writing 6 articles. It was hard at first but as I kept going, it became easier to do.

    I submitted these articles and within a few weeks I noticed more traffic and my rankings were a lot higher.

    I did this a few months ago, along with a few other things, and now I enjoy a position of 10 on page one for my main keyword in google. I think with a little more effort I can make into the top 3.

    So yes, I know for a fact that article submission does work

  11. Rather than submitting in 500 sites, I'll suggest to submit in 15-20 top sites(ezine etc) after spinning and it will do the magic.

  14. What about article rewriting or spinning? I read that we should spin our article to make them unique. On the other hand, there are many blogs who publish snippet about such issues explaining that it is not a big issue. I am really confused about that.

  24. Great articles tips, Riggie! Thank you. I could agree with you about submiting an article to only one place from SEO point of view but from traffic point of view I do not agree with it. The articles should appear on as much sites as possible for a wider audience. So which would be the solution to this?

    Also what do you say about press releases. Do you think that press releases should also appear on only one site?

    Yes, I would only use one article for each Press Release. Google seems to
    be able to find and remove these duplicate articles pretty well these days.

    Rather invest a bit more work to write an article for each new Press Release –
    you'll be well rewarded.
