An Easy Internet Business Setup

By Riggie Freyer

There is a hard way and an easy way to create a website and make money  for your off-line business or on-line internet business.

The hard way to create income is to try and find out what works by trial and error, or by getting overwhelmed by internet marketing e-books. In other words, wasting a lot of time trying to figure out what to do.

The easier and quicker way is to use this simple formula to get traffic quickly and actually make money selling your own product or affiliate products. The secret is to use  these following 5 steps to get traffic and make sales for your website or blog:

1. Add Content at Least Twice a Week to your Site

Make sure you update your website or blog with content at least twice a week.

This will help your site to get crawled regularly by the search engines and help you to keep your traffic growing as time goes on. Your goal should be to get a few visitors a day for each article you write. Once you've written 100 articles… you'll definitely get loads of traffic!

2. Use LSI to get your article found in the Search Engines

Make sure you learn to use a Latent Semantic Indexing tool to write effective articles. Download this LSI Tool today.

This tool will help you write articles which will be seen as very relevant to your topic by the search engines. Your article will then be found for many different keywords which your potential visitors search for.

3. Submit Your Site to Key Web Directories

There are key Web Directories you must submit your website or blog to when you first create your website. Search engines don't place much value on most directories, so you must submit to the ones they value. Here's a partial list of directories which Google values:
- Yahoo.com
- JoeAnt.com
- Gimpsy
- GoGuides
- WOW Directory
- Somuch.com
- BOTW.org

Most directories cost about $30 - $80. Only Yahoo costs $299 per year, which is worth it as Yahoo gives your site a tremendous authority boost with Google.

4. Use Quick Linking Techniques to Get Your Site Ranked Well

To speed up getting links for your website, you can go to Linkvana and 3WayLinks. These sites help you to get one-way links to your sites relatively easily.

They're not cheap, but will save you loads of time searching for links. And they'll help your pages get ranked a lot quicker.

Remember to comment on blogs and get even more links to your websites. Some sites (like my blog here) use the KeywordLuv plug-in which allows you link to your site with the keyword of your choice. Find a list of these blogs at http://www.untwistedvortex.com.

5. Additionally Create an Adwords Campaign

Make sure you always run a Google Adwords advertising campaign parallel to your search engine campaigns. It will always increase your traffic and your sales.

Great stuff, Riggie. Apart from what you have outlined above, I think one of the essential key to any successful website is being proactive in the niche community via blog commenting. You can't take that away from your marketing effort.

Hi Riggie,
Just a few observations: I think is Gimpsy, a typo there :)
Also I would stay away from link brokers
And you forgot article syndication which works great if is done properly
Cheers

Some great info here and I'm looking forward to your article concerning blog commenting. For instance, you mention that it's ok to use keywords as a name in this blog, but I assume this is not always the case. Why is that?

Also, there seem to be disagreements about when and how often to post content to a blog. I think it makes sense that adding too much too quickly is a bad thing, but where is the sweet spot? You mention adding content at least twice a week as a minimum, but what is the maximum?

Looking forward to any feedback.

Thank you.

Are you sure that buying links will not be punished by Google?Lots of people say that buying links is not a good idea.

Have you used websites like Linkvana to get links yourself? Does it generate good quality links? I am always a bit sceptical about things like that so its good to get a few experienced opinions.

Hi Nick,

Linkvana works very well and yes, it does generate good quality links.

Articles written and linked to via Linkvana create solid traffic in my experience.

Riggie

Yes, buying links is not a good idea in most cases.

However some memberships such as Linkvana allow you
to create links in such a way as to not create any red flags
with the search engines, as they are natural links and
not set links within a "system".

Hi Mike,

Thanks for your comments…

Yes, you're right, absolutely stay away from link brokers…. it seems
as though Google has got them observed very closely.

And article syndication does work well too… will do some tests soon
and let you guys know how well it works.

I think this is a great list of strategies to get traffic but I do think SEO and social networking would help build traffic also. You really have to know what you are doing when using Adwords too or it will cost you. Great post.

This is great material for helping a business begin it's online presence. Most people think they can just throw a business website up online and it creates "instant" business. This is not the case, as you have presented. Thanks again.
