Remember, you don't just simply want traffic. You want targeted traffic. And you can get it if you produce good, unique content. When visitors hit your site, they'll immediately be interested in your content if they're targeted visitors.

1. Setup a Blog, preferably a Wordpress Blog

You can get your web site off the ground fast by simply investing some time. Use software tools and a simple promotion strategy to increase the flow of visitors to your websites.

Step 1. Create a Blog and Write Content for It – the Right Way

Create a press release and submit it to free and paid services. The best paid ones I use are prweb.com and webwire.com. I prefer the paid version of prweb.com. For $220 you can submit a press release and imbed a link to your website. You might think it's very expensive, but you could get a lot of traffic from your press release and some great links which will give your site a nice boost in the search engine rankings.
